Los Angeles: Hollywood actress Rosamund Pike is set to lead and produce ‘Feed’. Directed by ‘The Acolyte’ filmmaker Leslye Headland and written by Daniella Isaacs, the film is set as a body horror movie.
Inspired by a 2022 Finnish horror film, ‘Hatching’, Feed will follow the plot of a desperate mother who discovers a mysterious collagen supplement that promises to turn her tween gymnast daughter into a social media sensation. But as the girl transforms into a celebrity and gains fame, she suddenly undergoes a monstrous transformation.
Pike is producing the movie under her ‘Primitive Streak’ banner. Shelley Browning, Steven Schneider, Ara Keshishian, Petr Jakl and Sam Ritzenberg are the co-producers.
The Veterans will handle the movie’s international sales, while CAA Media Finance will handle sales in the United States. Sales will begin soon at the American Film Market.
